Production Stills

I shot the live action film on green and blue screen backdrops the other day, I guess this means that I am indeed going to continue with this project now! I am pleased with how the filming went and I now hope that the computer generated set reflects the quality of the acual film footage.

This is a link to a 'Making Of' video about what was going on behind the scenes on the day of the shoot!

Here are some production stills from the footage itself!
Thanks to everyone involved with the shoot, it was a little epic!

This 'still' should give a rough idea of what I plan to do with the blue-screen elements although I am not going to turn the footage black and white, also this is clearly a static shot with a photograph placed in the background whereas it will be moving footage with computer generated imagery.

I'm still putting together the CG'd street, although below is another still I'm working on of the british boys sat with a wall in the background. I'm pleased with the way it looks compositionally because it's an interesting backdrop (depicting french posters suited to the period) but also it's not too busy, meaning it shouldn't distract from the soldiers themselves.
